Das Instrument wurde der Sammlung alter Musikinstrumente im Kunsthistorischen Museum Wien 1947 bis 1999 als Leihgabe zur Verfügung gestellt (BDA-Archiv, Restitutionsmaterialien, K. 53, M. 4, Zl. 4463/47, fol. 51–52).
