Additional information
Zwei im Archiv des Kunsthistorischen Museums in Wien überlieferte Fotos von 1941 zeigen angeblich den Hirschfänger gemeinsam mit anderen Waffen aus den Sammlungen Louis und Alphonse Rothschild, allerdings dürfte die bei einer der beiden Beschriftungen am Foto ein Irrtum vorliegen (KHM-Archiv, XV 1784 und XV 1801).
